What an incredible evening! On Wednesday, July 9th, the Cornell Club UK community gathered for our 3rd Annual Summer Party at the vibrant Mondo Brewing Company, just a stone’s throw from Battersea Power Station.
With around 40 alumni and friends in attendance, the event was a true celebration of Big Red spirit and summer camaraderie. The buzz was palpable as familiar faces reunited and new connections were made, all united by our shared Cornell pride.
Highlights of the evening included:
Craft Beer & Cheer: Alumni enjoyed two refreshing drinks straight from Mondo’s taps, sampling some of London’s finest local brews.
Delicious Bites: The Passyunk Avenue had fired up their on-site kitchen for CCUK and were serving Philly’s greatest delights.
Brewery Tours: Many took the opportunity to explore behind the scenes at Mondo, with founder Todd taking alumni on a guided tour, offering a fascinating look at Mondo’s state-of-the-art craft brewing process.
Lively Atmosphere: The venue buzzed with laughter, stories from The Hill, and the unmistakable energy that comes from bringing together a passionate alumni community.
