CCUK Neighborhoods Walk 7th edition – Richmond [Max: 10 attendees]
Step into a living postcard. For the seventh installment of our CCUK Neighborhood Walk series, we are heading southwest to Richmond, a neighborhood that perfectly balances royal history with riverside serenity.
We’ll begin our journey at Richmond Station, quickly escaping the bustle to explore the leafy greens and hidden alleyways that make this village one of London’s most coveted escapes. As we wander along the banks of the Thames, you’ll hear the stories behind the grand architecture and the timeless appeal that has drawn poets and kings to this bend in the river for centuries.
To wrap up our afternoon, we’ll head to Richmond Green for a “perfectly British” finale at The Prince’s Head. Whether you’re a die-hard Ted Lasso fan or simply a lover of a classic English local, this iconic pub offers the ideal setting to toast with fellow alumni.
Meeting Point: outside of Richmond station
Date & Time: Sunday April 26th, 14:00
End Point: The Prince’s Head
Please note that the walk’s duration will depend on the weather, and in case of rain, the organizer will reach out to attendees directly. Join us for a fun afternoon of walking, exploring, and connecting with fellow Cornellians!
