CCUK’s Katia Lin A&S 2014 awarded the Robert S Harrison ’76 Recent Alumni Volunteer Award

Congratulations to CCUK Executive Committee member and VP of Social and Cultural events Katia Lin A&S 2014 on her Robert S Harrison ’76 Recent Alumni Volunteer Award 2023 as one of only four winners around the world!

Established last year, The Robert S. Harrison ’76 Recent Alumni Volunteer Award is intended to honour recent alumni (UG/Grad/Prof) who are 0-10 years past their Cornell graduation with demonstrated outstanding contributions to one or more Cornell volunteer organizations or University initiatives.

Katia is an enthusiastic ambassador for Cornell and CCUK. She has created surveys, organised events, met with alumni moving into the London area, all this during the challenging time of Covid-19 restrictions and beyond. She is currently the vice chair of social programs for Cornell Club of the UK, previously she was the young alumni leader; she volunteers for UK CAAAN, and previously in NY; lastly, she was also active with the Cornell Women’s Network, she was a former chair.

Cornell will be presenting the award at the upcoming Cornell Alumni Leaders Conference (CALC) in February 2024. Congratulations again to Katia and thanks for everything that you do for Cornell and CCUK – very well deserved!
