The spirit of service unites Cornellians worldwide! Twice a year, Cornellians gather to do the greatest good through acts of service. Join us in volunteering at a Central London cold weather shelter. Spaces are limited, so please sign up today if you’d like to join in!
Event details as follows:
What: CCUK has committed to hosting a cold weather shelter that provides dinner, a place to sleep and breakfast for up to 16 guests. Join your fellow Cornellians to prepare, serve and share a meal with the guests with the support of experienced team leaders.
Where: Near Goodge Street tube station (Tottenham Court Rd on the Northern line) – exact location to be shared when you register
When: Wednesday, 18th February 18:00-21:00
Registration Deadline: Thursday, 12th February
Price: £11 per person (to purchase ingredients and other essentials for the shelter)
Who: Six volunteer spots available.
Why: With fellow Cornellians, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment and your support truly makes a difference. Nearly the whole season (Nov-Mar) is already filled with repeat volunteers as it is such an enriching experience.
By purchasing tickets to this event you agree to our Privacy Policy and accept that tickets are non-refundable. The event organiser may also take a group photo which will be shared on our platforms and with Cornell University Office of Alumni Relations. If you would prefer not to be included in the photos, please let the event organisers know.
