On a lovely afternoon on 14th June 2026, the Cornell Club United Kingdom (CCUK) gathered in London to welcome our newest students and their families into the Big Red fold. This year, we have 45 new Cornell students this year, 14 of which are undergraduates, from the UK.
Over light refreshments and plenty of chat, alumni, current students, and parents came together to share stories and swap practical advice. A huge highlight of the day was welcoming Yvette A. Lam, Interim Director of International Development, Europe and India, who dropped by to meet everyone and share a few welcoming words with the parents.
It was a great chance to give the newest members a taste of what to expect in Ithaca, while also thanking our current students and wishing them all the best for the rest of their time at Cornell.
Last but not the least, many thanks to Mabel Lee (Class of ’83 and Vice Chair for CCUK) for graciously hosting this fantastic event once again.
