CCUK Neighborhoods Walk 8th edition – Southbank to Battersea [Max: 10 attendees]
Join fellow Cornellians for a picturesque afternoon walk along the Thames, taking in some of London’s most famous landmarks and newest neighborhood transformations!
Highlights of the Walk:
🏛️ Iconic Landmarks: Parliament, St. Thomas’ Hospital, and the MI6 Headquarters
🏗️ Modern Marvels: Nine Elms—one of Europe’s largest urban regeneration projects—and Battersea Power Station
🌳 Green Spaces: A scenic finish through Battersea Park
We’ll cap off the walk at The Prince Albert around 16:00, where attendees are welcome to stick around for a well-deserved post-walk drink.
Meeting Point: Outside the London Eye Ticket Office
Date & Time: Sunday July 26th, 14:30
End Point: The Prince Albert Pub at ~16:00
As we’ll be walking in the afternoon, please bring a water bottle, sun protection, and a pair of sunglasses!
Please note that the walk’s duration will depend on the weather, and in case of rain, the organizer will reach out to attendees directly. Join us for a fun afternoon of walking, exploring, and connecting with fellow Cornellians!
