Cornell Across The Pond

We had a great evening of history, trivia, laughter, and networking as we explore Cornell University’s historic connections “across the pond” in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Historian Corey Ryan Earle ’07 shared stories of Cornell-themed transatlantic trivia, from the influence of Oxford and Goldwin Smith to the 1908 London Olympics and beyond.

The presentation was followed by networking and breakout groups. We reconnected with fellow alumni virtually until the next Big Red London summer gathering, which will hopefully be in-person.
