Kreative Talk with Mural Artist Otto Schade by Cornell Alum Rafael Portillo AAP ’02

Cornell alumnus Rafael Portillo AAP ’02, founder of Artificial Kreativity, launched a Kreative Talk series this month as an initiative to meet the artists and take a closer look at their career journey, explore the choices they made, and the experiences that defined them. This is a great opportunity for students and early-year creative practitioners to learn about various professions, including art, architecture, music, and fashion, and how each approaches creativity differently.

Kreative Talk with Mural Artist Otto Schade
Join Chilean mural artist Otto Schade as he shares his journey from being an architect in Chile to moving to Germany and East London, where he began developing his distinct ribbon style. He will share insights into to the life of a mural artist, how he secures commissions, and what it means to use public space as an urban canvas. This event will have an introduction about our Kreative Talk series, a presentation from our guest speaker, Q+A session, and an opportunity to meet the artist in the gallery.
