CCUK Neighborhood Walk 5th Edition: Exploring Hertford [Max: 15 attendees]

Join fellow Cornellians for our 5th neighborhood walk, and the first one beyond the M25, organized by Sherry Stolar ’07 (CALS). After exploring various neighborhoods within London over the past few years, including Chiswick, St. Katharine’s & Wapping, Hampstead Heath and Clapham, join us for the first time for a tour of an historic English town just outside of London. Hertford’s history dates back to 912 AD and it has played an important role in British history, with its castle serving as a royal residence for 300 years and the town becoming home to Parliament when the plague overtook London.

We’ll stroll through the town’s picturesque streets and surroundings, wrapping up at a historic country pub with a beautiful back garden for some post-walk relaxation and conversation.

Please note that the walk’s duration will depend on the weather, and in case of rain, Sherry will reach out to attendees directly. Join us for a fun afternoon of walking, exploring, and connecting with fellow Cornellians!
